Ever notice how just ONE kiddo can make all the difference in the world on how smoothly {or not} your class runs?? Well, today TWO of my big ticket kids were gone, and the rest of my class took full advantage of the quiet, productive work time while I filled out grade cards and did last minute progress monitoring!
Please tell me I'm not the only one who has the same kind of crazy calm day when certain gifts take a day off...
Definitely not alone! My gift took the morning off today…and came to school at lunchtime on his first dose of ADHD meds. Wish me luck for a better rest of the year! =)

Oh, I do know how you feel! I just implemented a behavior modification plan for my little gift and it is zapping my energy. ;-)
ReplyDeleteOn another note...are you in Kansas doing the daily five? Kristi and I are looking for a place to observe.
Hoping for a good day for you (and me),
Crystal

How true that is!!! It's crazy how it makes such a difference. Glad you were able to make great use of that time and that you had a quiet day. We all need those more often I think. Especially now that in CALIF. I have 30 kids instead of 20 this year. :o/
