*Free* StoryTown TpT Item!

I saw this fabulous idea earlier this year from Kathleen @ Growing Kinders... and I knew I HAD to adapt it to fit my first graders!! (Mine doesn't have all the cute graphics, tho, I kept it pretty basic this go 'round.)

Even if you don't have StoryTown, your firsties may very well still benefit from this practice. If you have kindergarten, I strongly recommend visiting Kathleen's TpT store to snag some that are appropriate for your kiddos!

    Love it! My students do this as part of their morning work. We have them copy the date, correct the sentence and write about the journal prompt. One of my projects this summer was to plan this portion out and have it ready to go for the year. Thank you!!

    Thank you for sharing these tools. I am being moved to First Grade for next year so I am scouting out materials to use for StoryTown and Everyday Mathematics. I very excited about this move and want to be prepared as much as I can be. Thank you for these tools. Have a great day !
